About Krista M Bannon, M.D.

Krista M. Bannon, M.D. is a board-certified vein surgeon brings a wide breadth of knowledge and experience in the healthcare field, including serving a stint as a legislative intern in the US Senate. Dr. Bannon received her degree from the Meharry Medical College in Nashville, TN and did a residency in general surgery at the Ascension Health Providence Hospital in Southfield, MI. She is also a licensed pharmacist.

Dr. Bannon has received prominent awards for her skills both as a surgeon and researcher. In 2012, she was part of a medical mission trip to the Dominican Republic to provide and strengthen local healthcare services. Dr. Bannon has authored several articles in major medical journals and has been active in the community volunteering her expertise in teaching, healthcare screenings and philanthropy efforts.
