About Yachao Zhang, M.D.
Yachao Zhang, M.D.
Yachao Zhang, M.D., is a board-certified interventional radiologist, whose expertise and patient-centered approach to medicine ensures excellent care. She received her undergraduate degree in chemistry from Binghamton University in New York, and completed her doctorate at Upstate Medical University. Dr. Zhang received her post-graduate training at the State University of New York’s Upstate University Hospital and did her residency in diagnostic radiology at New York Medical College. Dr. Zhang also did a fellowship position in vascular and interventional radiology at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Weill Cornell Medical Center. While there, Dr. Zhang researched molecular imaging probes for intraoperative imaging and targeted cancer therapy. Dr. Zhang has presented at over 40 exhibits, meetings, and conferences. Dr. Zhang is also an avid volunteer for the Women in IR Committee and the World Molecular Imaging Congress.
