About Imtiaz Ahmad, M.D.
Imtiaz Ahmad, M.D.
Imtiaz Ahmad, M.D., is a board-certified radiologist with over 20 years of experience and extensive training in treating varicose vein disease and related disorders. He completed his education in nuclear radiology at Northwestern University. He then completed his residency in radiology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey. There he focused on diagnostic radiology. He also did a fellowship at the University of Ottawa in vascular and interventional/neuro-interventional radiology. Dr. Ahmad’s background includes holding positions at the Cleveland Clinic, JFK Memorial Hospital, and the University of California-San Francisco. He has also held positions as a clinical assistant professor of radiology at New York Medical College. Dr. Ahmad has served as chief resident at the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine and has received numerous honors. He speaks several languages, including Urdu, Arabic, Punjabi, Hindi, and English.
