About Phillip L. Cacioppo, M.D.
Phillip Cacioppo, M.D., is a general surgeon specializing in vein care and dialysis access management. Dr. Cacioppo performs a full scope of minimally invasive procedures to treat vein disease and dysfunctional vascular accesses, providing critical care and maintenance to those with dialysis access. Dr. Cacioppo has over 40 years of experience treating patients. He served as the Director of the Blood Flow Lab at St. Francis Hospital, and was on a board representative of the American Cancer Society. Dr. Cacioppo attended Loyola University, where he received his M.D. and completed residency in general surgery. He was awarded a fellowship from the American College of Surgeons. Dr. Cacioppo served as a clinical assistant professor of surgery at Loyola University and has been published in numerous medical journals.
