About Jay Steinberg, D.O.
Jay Steinberg, D.O. is an experienced board-certified physician who has been in practice for more than 15 years. He has developed a reputation for his excellent care as a thoracic surgeon and has received numerous awards. He specializes in minimally invasive thoracic surgery, lung cancer, pleural disease, and chest wall tumors. Dr. Steinberg received his medical training at New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westry, NY. He completed postgraduate training at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse, N.Y., where he did an internship, residency, and a fellowship in cardiothoracic surgery. Dr. Steinberg then completed a fellowship in endovascular surgery at the University of Pittsburg, PA. The co-author of numerous articles, Dr. Steinberg has been a presenter at medical associations and universities across the country.
