About Lutchman, Gordon, M.D.

Dr. Lutchman is board certified in Surgery in both the USA and England.  He practiced General and Vascular Surgery for 23 years at Maimonides Medical Center and Coney Island Hospital, two major teaching hospitals in Brooklyn, NY.  He has been doing laser vein surgery since 2005 and has done this exclusively since 2011.

Dr. Lutchman has been actively involved in medical education, teaching both medical students and surgical residents in England and also here in the USA.  In addition, he served as Professor and Chairman of Surgery at St. George’s University School of Medicine  for 20 years, 1991-2011.

His passion for laser surgery includes 25 years of laser wound care – over 10,000 cases.  His work resulted in him being asked to present at a meeting of ASLMS (American Society for Lasers in Medicine & Surgery) and his authorship of a chapter in a surgical textbook on the use of lasers in wound care.

He has been chosen on numerous occasions to be included in Castle Connolly’s Top Doctors in NY Metro and Top Surgeons.

Dr. Lutchman is an avid sports fan and an amateur photographer in his spare time.
