About Alex Brevil, M.D.
Alex Brevil, M.D.
Alex Brevil, M.D., has over ten years of experience as an Emergency Medicine Specialist. Dr. Brevil graduated from the Boston University School of Medicine. He completed his residency at SUNY Kings County Hospital Center in emergency medicine. He was then awarded an Emergency Ultrasound Fellow at Harvard University’s Brigham & Women’s Hospital. Serving as a clinical assistant professor at SUNY Downstate Medical Center, he taught ultrasound studies and preclinical ultrasound integration to medical students. Dr. Brevil has presented and lectured on emergency medicine and ultrasound use. In addition to teaching and assuming leadership roles at Harvard’s medical school, Dr. Brevil is published in several medical journals. His international experience includes serving as the ultrasound lead for Mirebelais Haiti’s Department of Emergency Medicine and at Fort Liberte, in Haiti.
