Yan Katsnelson, M.D.

Dr. Yan Katsnelson is a highly-skilled cardio-vascular surgeon. He completed his training at the Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, and served as an attending Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgeon at the University of Chicago.

Dr. Katsnelson’s clinical interests include minimally-invasive aortic and mitral valve surgery, complex aortic operations, re-operative coronary and valve surgery, and beating-heart (off-pump) bypass surgery. His research interests are in the fields of mitral valve repair and ventricular assist devices.
He performs wide range of vascular and thoracic operation, including innovative minimally invasive Endovenous Laser Therapy to treat varicose veins.

Yan Katsnelson, M.D. is the founder of the Chicago Heart Institute and USA Vein Clinics.

Flora Katsnelson, M.D.

Dr . Flora Katsnelson, a University of Chicago graduate, who finished her residency at Mount Sinai Medical Center, has been involved in treatment of venous disease since 2005. She is a cofounder of USA Vein Clinics of New York and Los Angeles .

Her knowledge, expertise and unique approach and care for her patients make Dr Flora Katsnelson one of the most respected physicians in the clinic. Dr. Flora Katsnelson is fluent in Russian and Hebrew.

Michael Bezuevsky, M.D.

Dr. Michael Bezuevsky was born in Uzbekistan where he studied at Tashkent State Medical Institute. He completed his training at Deborah Heart & Lung Center in Brown Mills, NJ. Dr. Bezuevsky is the author and co-other of numerous research publications and has performed thousands of minimally invasive procedures. In addition to English, Dr. Bezuevsky is also fluent in Russian.

Di Fan, M.D.

Dr. Di Fan was born in China and as a surgeon had more than 20 years experience in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery. He performed thousands of operations in thoracic and cardiovascular surgery, as well as innovative minimally invasive Endovenous Laser Therapy procedures.

He completed his fellowship training in pediatric cardiovascular surgery in Children’s National Medical Center, Washington DC. In addition to English, he is fluent Chinese speaker.

Alexander Kolesnikov, M.D.

Dr. Alexander Kolesnikov was born in Russia. Dr. Kolesnikov has more than 20 years of experience in the cardiovascular field from Israel and the United States. Dr Kolesnikov completed his post-graduate training in Lutheran Medical Center in Brooklyn, NY. Dr. Kolesnikov perfomed thousands of minimally invasive procedures, including the innovative EVLT endovenous laser ablation procedure.

In addition to English, Dr. Kolesnikov is fluent in Russian and Hebrew.

Vahe Melkonyan, M.D.

Dr Vahe Melkonyan was born in Armenia where he went through the medical school. He completed his post-graduate training at University of California San Francisco – Fresno.

Dr. Melkonyan also completed vascular/endovascular training at the Nottingham University/Queen’s Medical Centre in Nottingham/UK.

Dr. Melkonyan is an author and co-author of multiple medical publications and is experienced in vascular surgery including minimally invasive, endoscopic and endovascular procedures. In addition to English, Dr. Melkonyan is fluent in Russian and Armenian.

Brian Murray, M.D.

Dr. Brian Murray, a University of North Carolina Graduate who completed his internship in general surgery at St. Lukes Roosevelt, a  Columbia University Medical Center Hospital. He then continued his general surgery residency at a Mount Sinai affiliate hospital. He then went on to complete his fellowship at Yale School of Medicine is both an author and a coauthor on numerous medical publications.

He has performed numerous endovascular procedures and received extensive training in diagnostic ultrasound.
