About Samir Iskhagi, M.D., Ph. D., F.A.C.S.
Samir Iskhagi, M.D., FACS, is a board-certified oncologist and surgeon. Dr. Iskhagi’s experience allows him to approach chronic venous insufficiency and related vascular conditions with the technical precision required for delicate vessel repair and blood flow optimization. He earned his medical degree from Azerbaijan Medical University in Baku, Azerbaijan. Dr. Iskhagi’s extensive clinical foundation includes a general surgery residency and an oncology-surgery fellowship from Moscow, Russia, along with a transplant surgery fellowship at Yale New Haven Transplantation Center.
He is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and maintains active involvement with the American Society of Transplant Surgeons. Dr. Iskhagi offers a unique advantage in patient communication through his fluency in six languages: English, Azerbaijani, Russian, Turkish, German, and Spanish.
