About Nissin C. Nahmias, M.D.
Nissin C. Nahmias, M.D., is a board-certified general surgeon specializing in advanced, minimally invasive image-guided interventions and laparoscopic procedures. He earned his medical degree from Anahuac University, completed his general surgery residency at the Albert Einstein Medical Center, and went on to complete a specialized fellowship in advanced minimally invasive surgery at the Virginia Commonwealth University Medical College.
With over two decades of clinical and academic excellence, Dr. Nahmias brings a wealth of leadership experience to USA Vein Clinics. He has held numerous prestigious roles, including serving as a Program Director and Chair of the Clinical Competency Committee at the SBH Health System in New York. A dedicated educator, he has directed general surgery clerkships and mentored countless residents and medical students across major Northeast health networks.
Dr. Nahmias is a recognized Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and a Fellow of the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS).
