USA Vein Clinics offered free webinars on vein disease during Pain Awareness Month in September to educate people about the development and treatment of vein disease.

The free webinar, “Why Are My Veins So Visible: Fact and Fiction About Vein Disease,” presented by Dr. Jacob White, M.D., Medical Director at USA Clinics Group, is one of two released by USA Vein Clinics for Pain Awareness Month.  The first webinar, “A Guide to Vein Disease” by Dr. Aaron Shiloh, can also be viewed on-demand on the USA Vein Clinics’ website.

More than 25 million people in the United States suffer from venous insufficiency. Vein disease is a chronic condition caused by weak or damaged valves in the veins, which allow blood to pool and back up. Vein disease does not go away on its own and requires proper treatment based on the severity of the condition. If left treated,  venous disease can cause serious health risks such as deep vein thrombosis (DVT), venous ulcers, and May-Thurner syndrome.

USA Vein Clinics offers a variety of safe and effective, minimally invasive vein treatment options, including ClariVein®, Venaseal™, endovenous laser treatment (EVLT), ultrasound-guided sclerotherapy, visual sclerotherapy, varithena, and radiofrequency ablation (RFA) treatment.

The webinar is available on the USA Vein Clinics website.
