USA Vein Clinics was recently featured in Patch newspapers about their free “Glow and Flow” event in the River Oaks location in Houston, TX, during Ultraviolet (UV) Awareness Month in July. While many people recognize that too much sun increases skin cancer risk, fewer realize that prolonged sun exposure can worsen varicose and spider veins.
“Glow and Flow” is a part of USA Vein Clinics’ larger initiative to increase awareness on vein disease, the underlying condition that can cause varicose and spider veins. Attendees at the event will learn more about vein disease symptoms, risk factors that aggravate symptoms like sun damage, and when to seek treatment for varicose and spider veins.
