About John Thomas Malcynski, M.D., F.A.C.S., F.C.C.P.
John T. Malcynski, M.D., is a board-certified surgeon with over 30 years of experience in general surgery, trauma, and surgical critical care. Complementing his surgical background, Dr. Malcynski possesses specialized expertise in minimally invasive vein care, utilizing advanced techniques to treat venous disease with precision and patient-focused recovery.
After earning his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine, Dr. Malcynski completed postgraduate training at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, Tufts New England Medical Center (Cardiothoracic Surgery), and the University of Pennsylvania (Trauma and Surgical Critical Care). Dr. Malcynski is a fellow of both the American College of Surgeons (FACS) and the American College of Chest Physicians (FCCP). Throughout his career, Dr. Malcynski has balanced high-level clinical practice with academic leadership. He has served as a Trauma Medical Director and held faculty appointments at Dartmouth, the University of Pennsylvania, and the University of Miami.
