Biography

About Dingchao He, M.D.

Dingchao He, MD, is a board-certified thoracic vascular surgeon specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of varicose veins. His clinical expertise also includes the surgical management of congenital cardiovascular malformations and cardiac arrhythmias. Dr. He earned his medical degree from Xi’an Medical University in Xi’an, China, and later completed doctoral research at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation. He served as an attending surgeon and associate professor of Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery at the First Teaching Hospital of Xi’an Medical University before pursuing postdoctoral studies in Pharmacology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.

He completed a fellowship in Pediatric Cardiac and Vascular Surgery at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, D.C. Dr. He has been recognized by the American College of Cardiology for his research and is a member of the American Vein and Lymphatic Society (formerly the American College of Phlebology) and the Society of Thoracic Surgeons.
