About Rachel Lewis Parker, M.D.
Rachel Lewis Parker, M.D., is a board-certified general surgeon who treats a wide range of conditions, including both planned surgeries and urgent surgical procedures. Dr. Parker earned her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. She subsequently completed her General Surgery residency and a Resident Research Fellowship in General Surgery at the University of Tennessee Graduate School of Medicine in Knoxville.
In addition to her clinical training, Dr. Parker has contributed to research focused on surgical outcomes, quality improvement, and evidence-based patient care. Her experience performing minimally invasive procedures, endoscopy, vascular access procedures, and complex soft-tissue operations supports a thoughtful, patient-centered approach to evaluating and treating vein disease.
