About Tanmay Girish Lal, M.D.
Tanmay Girish Lal, M.D., is a board-certified surgeon with extensive clinical experience in general and transplant surgery gained at leading academic medical institutions. Dr. Lal earned both his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) and Master of Surgery (M.S.) degrees from the University of Bombay. He completed general surgery residency training at St. John Hospital and Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. He then pursued advanced training at the University of Maryland, the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, and Lahey Hospital & Medical Center.
Drawing on a solid foundation and in-depth knowledge of vascular anatomy, Dr. Lal evaluates vein issues using minimally invasive techniques designed to improve circulation, relieve symptoms, and support long term vascular health.
