About Amit K. Taggarse, M.D.
Amit K. Taggarse, M.D., is a highly trained cardiothoracic and general surgeon. After earning his M.D from the Osmania Medical College in India. He completed multiple residencies in general surgery including a fellowship in adult cardiac surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN. Throughout his career he has specialized in treating high-risk patients with advanced heart failure, including vascular and thoracic care.
Dr.Taggarse’s expertise in circulation and minimally invasive procedures allow him to provide advanced care for patients suffering from various vein and vascular diseases. With over 25 years of medical practice and advanced fellowship training, Dr. Taggarse’s clinical research has been published in numerous journal publications. He is a dedicated mentor, and the founder of the “Bloom Parks and Projects” non-profit for underprivileged children.
