In a recent article from Patch, Dr. Stuart Feldman warns Brookfield, WI, residents that polar vortexes can often mask symptoms of vein disease. While cold feet during the winter months are common, it may be an early sign of poor circulation if the feet can’t warm up indoors.
To help residents distinguish between cold feet and circulation-related symptoms, Dr. Feldman will host a free wellness event, “Let’s Talk Veins,” on Jan. 26. “Let’s Talk Veins” is a series of nationwide events where attendees can learn about vein disease, get expert advice on how to manage symptoms, and explore minimally invasive treatment options. The events are scheduled between now and March.
