USA Vein Clinics Offers Free Screenings in North Carolina to Address Underdiagnosed Vein Conditions

Vein PR Free Screenings in NC 1

Mooresville, SC, August 15, 2025—USA Vein Clinics is offering free screenings at their outpatient locations in North Carolina from August 14, 2025, until Sept. 14, 2025, to address the growing concern over undiagnosed vein disease. This is a part of USA Vein Clinics’ larger initiative to increase awareness of chronic venous insufficiency (CVI) and emphasize the importance of early detection and treatment of the common condition.

The free vein screenings will be held at the following USA Vein Clinics locations:

  • Cary, NC, at 3420 Ten Ten Road, Suite 300
  • Mooresville, NC, at 143 Joe Knox Ave., Suite 200

An appointment is required for the free screening, which can be made online at www.usaveinclinics.com or by calling 855-714-5347.

Free vein screenings can help people gain insight into their vascular health and prompt them to take action if vein disease is detected. Risk factors include gender and family history, age, gender, obesity, prolonged sitting or standing, lack of physical activity, smoking, pregnancy, a history of blood clots, or previous trauma such as a leg injury or surgery.

CVI occurs when veins in the legs become damaged and fail to return blood to the heart effectively. As a result, blood will pool in the legs, leading to the appearance of varicose and spider veins while also causing leg pain, swelling, and heaviness. Physicians at USA Vein Clinics emphasize that these symptoms should be addressed early to avoid health complications.

Complications from CVI are a major concern. Studies have shown that people with varicose veins, a sign of CVI, are over five times as likely to develop a blood clot known as deep vein thrombosis (DVT). This blood clot that develops in the deep veins of the leg can become fatal if it breaks off and travels to the lungs.

USA Vein Clinics uses state-of-the-art technology to detect and treat vein disease before these complications arise. They use diagnostic tools such as a venous ultrasound to identify hidden, damaged veins that explain a person’s leg swelling or heaviness after a long day. They also offer multiple, minimally invasive treatments that target problem veins and restore healthy blood flow. With over 168 nationwide locations recognized by the Intersocietal Accreditation Commission for Vascular Testing (IAC), USA Vein Clinics ensures that they provide evidence-based care that’s effective and convenient.
