About Ronald N. Locke, M.D., FACS
Ronald N. Locke, MD, FACS, is a board-certified general surgeon with over three decades of clinical expertise. He earned his Bachelor of Science from Clemson University and his Doctor of Medicine from Emory University School of Medicine. After completing surgical training at the University of Maryland and the University of South Carolina, he honorably served as a physician in the United States Naval Reserve, achieving the rank of Commander. A Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS), Dr. Locke maintains active memberships in the Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons and the North Carolina Medical Society.
Dr. Locke’s extensive background in open vascular and endovascular surgery, including stenting, atherectomy, and balloon angioplasty, gives him a deeper understanding of the circulatory system. His expertise in these procedures also allows him to diagnose complex vascular conditions and navigate delicate blood vessels with minimal tissue disruption. With over 10 years of wound care experience and certification in hyperbaric medicine, he offers advanced expertise in treating venous ulcers, severe swelling, and impaired healing, offering comprehensive vascular care.
