About Matthew Y. Suh, M.D.
Matthew Y. Suh, M.D., is a board-certified surgeon with over 20 years of experience in the medical field. This specialized background provides him with an extensive understanding of complex vascular anatomy and hemodynamics, which he applies to the treatment of chronic venous insufficiency, varicose veins, and other intricate vascular conditions.
Dr. Suh’s academic background includes both an undergraduate degree and a master’s degree from Harvard University, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude, and a Master of Public Health from New York University. He earned his Medical Degree from SUNY Downstate College of Medicine, graduating Magna Cum Laude. And being inducted into the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Medical Honor Society. Dr. Suh completed his internship, residency, and chief residency in General Surgery at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. During his training, he also completed a two-year Research Fellowship in Pediatric Surgery at the Children’s Hospital of Boston. He then spent two years at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York, completing a fellowship in Transplant Surgery.
