About Aboubakr Khairat, M.D.
Aboubakr Khairat, M.D., is an experienced physician specializing in vein care and general surgery. He combines his knowledge of both fields with his training in interventional techniques to provide in-depth diagnoses and effective treatments for various vein issues, from varicose and spider veins to chronic insufficiency.
He received his medical degree from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. Following his residency in cardiothoracic surgery at Suez Canal University Hospital, Ismailia, Egypt, Dr. Khairat did two back-to-back residencies from Hamad Medical Corporation in Doha, Qatar in general and pediatric surgery. He then pursued an internship in general surgery at the University of Florida, Jacksonville, Florida, and later went on to do his final residency in general surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center, Baltimore, Maryland.
