USA Vein Clinics Shares How Extreme Winter Weather Worsens Circulation
Indianapolis, Ind., Jan. 27, 2026 — As Indianapolis residents recover from “Winter Storm Fern,” USA Vein Clinics is inviting the community to a free wellness event focused on the effects of sedentary behavior during extreme weather. The event, “Let’s Talk Veins,” will be held at USA Vein Clinics’ Indianapolis center on Thursday, Feb. 5, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at 425 Jim Irsay St.
“Winter Storm Fern” led to a state of emergency declaration from Governor Braun on January 25. Over ten inches of snow covered Indianapolis within 24 hours, followed by extreme wind chills that kept residents inside for days. Vein specialists warn that this encourages sedentary behavior, and for individuals living with vein disease, this can worsen pain and feelings of fatigue or heaviness in the legs.
“Let’s Talk Veins” is an opportunity for attendees to speak directly with experienced vein specialists and understand why symptoms worsen during frigid temperatures. Attendees with visible varicose or spider veins—common signs of vein disease—may receive preliminary consultations and explore minimally invasive treatment options during the event.
Registration is required to ensure a screening slot. To RSVP, visit https://www.eventbrite.com/e/lets-talk-veins-indianapolis-free-vein-screening-event-lunch-tickets-1978671522789?aff=ebdsoporgprofile or call 224-661-1824.
