USA Vein Clinics Hosts Wellness Event in Miami to Help Residents Distinguish Chikungunya from Vein Disease

Latest Vein News Lets Talk Veins Miami

Following reports of rising chikungunya cases in Miami-Dade County, physicians at USA Vein Clinics are urging residents to pay close attention to leg pain symptoms. While chikungunya often causes leg pain and swelling, vein disease causes similar symptoms that can overlap with the mosquito-borne virus. This overlap can result in delayed or inappropriate care.

To help residents understand the difference between the two conditions, USA Vein Clinics is hosting a free “Let’s Talk Veins” wellness event on Feb. 4, 2026, at their North Miami center. Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with the local vein expert, receive preliminary vein screenings, and explore minimally invasive treatments that help alleviate vein disease symptoms.

“Let’s Talk Veins” is a part of a national campaign to raise awareness of vein disease. These free events are scheduled to continue at various nationwide locations through March.

To RSVP or find additional dates and locations, visit USA Vein Clinics’ Eventbrite page or call (224) 661-1824.
