Biography
About Syed Rizvi, M.D., D.O.
Board-certified as a surgeon with a specialty in vascular conditions, Syed Rizvi, M.D. has over 18 years of experience in the medical field as a general surgeon. Dr. Rizvi completed a general surgery residency followed by a vascular surgery fellowship at the Brooklyn campus of NYU Langone Medical Center. He then served as an attending vascular surgeon at Danbury Hospital and was a Clinical Assistant of Surgery at the Larner College of Medicine, University of Vermont.
Dr. Rizvi also served as the Medical Director of the Vascular Laboratory at Mount Sinai South Nassau in Oceanside, NY. He has been a presenter at numerous local, national, and international vascular surgery conferences. He is an author of several scientific manuscripts and book chapters in primary vascular surgery textbooks. He is involved with major national vascular surgery societies and was recently appointed membership on national committees.
